The dweller of de-la-Gatineau Valley
A reference in the region
When it comes time to dig an artesian well in the Vallée-de-la-Gatineau, a name is needed, that of Dufresne-Laniel. The company is truly synonymous with artesian wells, having dug about 80% * of all wells in the region over the last 60 years.
All you have to do is open the tap!
The Dufresne-Laniel Artesian Well team takes care of everything and brings the water to your tap. She digs the well, then supplies and installs:
the submersible pump
the pipe and the spinning from the pump to the tank
the water tank
the water treatment system
Once the job is done, all you have to do is open your faucet (if your plumbing is already installed).
NOTE *: This statistic is based on 799 well digging surveys in three randomly selected municipalities in the Vallée-de-la-Gatineau. The records are recorded by the Hydrogeological Information Service of the Quebec Ministry of Sustainable Development, Environment and Parks.

Dufresne-Laniel, the owners over the years
A little history
Founded in 1948 by Joe Dufresne, the company was later acquired in 1972 by Raymond Laniel. It was in 1994 that Alain Lapierre took over. Since 2012, Puits Dufresne-Laniel is the property of Mr. Hugo Morin, who had been associated with the company for 14 years. Mr. Lapierre, however, remains a collaborator of the company and specializes in the installation of submersible pumps and water filtration systems.
